The proposal is for up to 80 residential dwellings, new areas of public space, pedestrian/cycle ways and associated infrastructure.
The proposed development presents an opportunity to 'infil' an area of land on the northern edge of Attleborough, next to an obvious settlement boundary along the A11 bypass.
The site is well related to the existing settlement of Attleborough, providing a sustainable location for housing that is close to existing services. The proposed development will be consistent in form and character with the surrounding residential dwellings, with a development density of approximately 22 dwellings per hectare in similar sized plots.
The proposal will provide 2, 3 and 4 bedroom homes of a mixed tenure, with approximately 35% affordable housing.
